GRAPPA FIANO DI AVELLINO

This fine grappa is made by distilling the vinacce (wine-soacked grape residues left over from the winemaking process) of Fiano di Avellino. It uses the traditional, discontinuos method of steam-distilling that has long been favoured by the best distillers.
Crystal clear, its perfumes are reminiscent of dried grasses, and the evocative scent of parched, sun-backed Mediterranean soil. The taste is harmonious and lightly mint, with very good length.
A complex grappa that is worth sipping slowly at the end of a fine meal.
